New Edge Advisors Leadership Team

Alex is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of NewEdge Advisors. He is fully dedicated to understanding what successful advisors need and what they do not. His mission is to provide advisors with the tools and flexibility they require to better serve their clients without the limitations wirehouses and big banks force on advisors. 
Prior to serving as CEO of NewEdge Advisors, Alex built he and his father’s personal advisory practice into the $8 billion RIA, Goss Advisors. Goss Advisors was subsequently acquired by NewEdge Capital Group and rebranded as NewEdge Advisors.

Alex graduated from Louisiana State University and moved to New York City where he worked for the New Orleans-based technology firm iSeatz.com. It was there that Alex met current business partner, Neil Turner, and they both went on to co-found AdverCar.com. After developing the business plan into a Silicon Valley venture capital-backed advertising firm, he moved to New Orleans to join his father, Jerry Goss, as a financial advisor. From there, it didn’t take long for the idea of what has become NewEdge Advisors to be born.

Neil is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of NewEdge Advisors.

Neil has a strong track record of taking great business ideas and turning them into exceptional companies, like NewEdge Advisors. After starting his career at JP Morgan, Neil made his way to New Orleans-based technology firm, iSeatz.com, as their Chief Strategy Officer. It was there that he met current business partner, Alex Goss. The two went on to form AdverCar.com before co-founding what is known today as NewEdge Advisors. As Co-Founders, they continue to develop NewEdge Advisors into one of the most advisor-first firms in the nation.

Neil graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. 

As Chief Experience Officer, Managing Partner of NewEdge Advisors, Jeff oversees the Advisor Solutions division, where he is directly responsible for advisor advocacy, technology, marketing, and community-building events. Additionally, as an executive leadership team member, Jeff helps guide the firm’s strategy for corporate development, advisor experience, and digital transformation. 

Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before Joining NewEdge Advisors, Jeff was a Vice President at LPL Financial for 13 years focusing on business consulting and practice management for top-producing independent advisors. 

He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree. He also maintains his Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Steve serves as President of NewEdge Advisors. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including a 24-year career at LPL where he was a vital member of the Business Development team. During his time at LPL, Steve had a great impact in growing the firm from 1500 advisors to 16,000 advisors and retired as Executive Vice President, Business Development. Over the past 4 years, he has coached and consulted with many large advisory firms and has witnessed the changes, challenges, and opportunities within our industry, and has strategically led many of these companies through significant growth. 

Steve graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
